Brain - Request Ticket RF5232772

Hi Saama Support Team,

We received the following ticket from the user. Please find the details.

We have already discussed with digital team, and they have confirmed that it can take as enhancement.

Reporter (User experiencing the issue)  -  TELLA, ADITYA

Reported Date/Time – 24-Oct-2024 09:53

Customer Reported Category – Medium

Reporter's Issue Description - We have a SAS program lu_spi_graph_colors.sas converts lu_tlf_graph_colors.xlsx to SAS data set. During this process it creates two objects (please refer to attachment (Output Files.png)) . As you see extension .sas7bndx is index file created for respective SAS data set. In order to access the data set , the  .sas7bdnx file also should exist in the same folder.

Currently SIGMA is not treating the .sas7bndx file extension as one of the file types for outputs, Therefore .sas7bdnx file is not showing as the output artifact in dependency chart. Due to that  the index file (.sas7bdnx ) associated with SAS data set it did not move  to prod_state as part of the “Move Package to Production”. Without the index file the SAS data set become unusable.

Please find the attachment for the dependency chart:

Program location: /Volumes/data/sigmaprod_sce/programs/ONCOLOGY_stdutil/qc_state/other/programs/lu_spi_graph_colors.sas

Excel file location: /Volumes/data/sigmaprod_sce/programs/ONCOLOGY_stdutil/other_files/general/source_data/lu_tlf_graph_colors.xlsx

Would it be possible to include .sas7bdnx extension as one of the file types for OUTPUTS?

Reporter's Issue Description - We have a program that creates a TA level template with extension (.sas7bitm) . This file is not recognized as output artifact. Therefore, we are unable to move the template to prod_state (Please find the attachment for dependency chart)

Program location: /Volumes/data/sigmaprod_sce/programs/ONCOLOGY_stdutil/dev_state/other/programs/template.sas

I am assuming if SIGMA won't recognize .sas7bitm as valid output file extension, it won't be recognized as INPUT as well.
