Reporter's Issue Description - I was able to onboard other studies like C5041005, C5041034 and C5041050 studies. But not able to onboard C0311009 study, I am able to see prompt saying, 'Study is being created you will receive a notification once the process is completed'. However, I didn't receive any notification regarding successful creation of the study, and it is not created as well in Sigma.

Hi Gita,

Following is our analysis for the specific Study that we thought had failed to onboard during the Hypercare call:

C0311009 was onboarded by velagn01 user on 21st November, 2024, 9:23 pm UTC. The user may have tried to onboard the study using C0311009 id (we are not sure), and the system queried the Alias table for that study and found that the corresponding Study ID for the study is CP4006. The system brought back CP4006 and onboarded it in SIGMA. The user got the notification on successful onboarding.

After that point, if any user tries to onboard C0311009 study from GPD IP, the system is only checking internally within SIGMA and as the Study ID is CP4006, it is trying to onboard that study from GPD IP. However, during the process of onboarding, SIGMA realized that the study was already onboarded, but failed to notify the user of the same. (This was experienced by Gita this morning.)

The root cause of the issue is that SIGMA didn't handle the difference between the Study ID and Alias ID for the same study while sending the notification. Designing and implementing this solution could take about 3-5 days and also would require a good amount of testing.

Please let us know if this is a critical issue that should hold off Release 2.2.
